Job summary

Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem, seeks a Government Relations professional to build regulatory relationships across priority APAC markets and drive market access initiatives. You will engage with regulators, industry bodies, and advisory firms while overseeing vendor contracts and budgets.

You will represent Binance in stakeholder discussions, gather regulatory intelligence, and work closely with Legal/Policy to ensure compliant, timely outcomes across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in government relations, public affairs, or policy advisory in APAC markets.
• Ability to open conversations with senior regulators and navigate complex regulatory environments.
• Active membership or relationships with regional financial industry bodies is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable with vendor management, contract oversight, and budget tracking.

• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with regulators and government authorities across priority APAC markets.
• Establish Binance's presence in regional financial industry bodies and associations.
• Engage GR agencies and advisory firms to access senior regulatory conversations.
• Represent Binance in stakeholder meetings, conveying the company’s positioning and market intelligence.
• Own the full contract lifecycle for Government Relations vendors and partnerships.
• Manage P&L for the APAC GR function, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Legal/Policy to hand off regulatory and policy matters smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with regulators and government authorities across priority APAC markets
• Establish and nurture Binance's presence in regional financial industry bodies and associations, leveraging existing memberships or building new affiliations
• Engage local GR agencies and advisory firms to secure access to senior regulatory conversations in markets where direct relationships are not yet established
• Represent Binance in stakeholder meetings, articulating the company’s positioning and gathering intelligence on regulatory expectations and market access requirements
• Own the full contract lifecycle for Government Relations vendors and consultancy partnerships
• Manage P&L for the APAC GR function, ensuring all engagements are compliant and properly documented
• Partner closely with the Legal/Policy team to ensure a seamless handoff on substantive regulatory and policy matters

Requirements

• Proven background in government relations, public affairs, or policy advisory — ideally within a regional agency or consultancy operating across multiple APAC markets
• Demonstrated ability to open doors and secure conversations with senior regulators, even without pre-existing personal relationships
• Existing membership in or working relationships with regional financial industry bodies and associations
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly in unfamiliar environments
• High comfort level with administrative and operational responsibilities, including vendor management, contract oversight, and budget tracking
• Willingness to travel across APAC
