Job summary

Binance in Hong Kong is hiring a backend engineer focused on Strategy and Personalization Engines. You will design and optimize backend logic, process real-time data, and work with data analysts and product managers to implement user-behavior-driven strategies.

Collaboration across squads and strong code quality are essential. Requirements include 3–6 years in backend development with Go, experience in data-driven systems and possibly A/B testing, and a degree in CS/Engineering.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years backend development with Go experience.
• Experience building data-driven backend systems and user profiling.
• Experience with Recommendation Systems, personalization, or A/B testing.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, databases, and Kafka.
• Strong communication in a fast-paced, product-centric squad.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize backend logic for Strategy and Personalization Engines.
• Build high-throughput data processing endpoints delivering real-time experiences.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Product Managers to implement behavior-based strategies.
• Partner with Frontend, DevOps, QA to integrate features with backend infrastructure.
• Advocate for engineering best practices and participate in code reviews.
