Caliber8 Recruitment is sourcing a GM Marine Operations to be based in Hong Kong. This senior role requires oversight of a large oil tanker fleet, working closely with Masters, owners and charterers to optimise performance and minimise delays.

The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive seagoing experience at Master level, strong leadership, and a proven track record in maritime operations management within a busy port environment.

Formación

• Senior leadership experience in maritime operations.
• Experience overseeing large fleets and complex voyage operations.
• Strong knowledge of vessel operations, port calls and cargo handling.
• Proven ability to work with Masters, owners and charterers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee marine operations across the managed fleet.
• Provide operational guidance to Masters and vessel teams.
• Monitor vessel movements, port calls and cargo operations.
• Coordinate with owners, charterers, agents and terminals to minimise delays.
• Oversee voyage planning, bunkering and port operations.
• Monitor KPIs, delays, off-hire and vessel performance.
• Collaborate with Technical, Crewing, HSSEQ and Commercial teams.
• Support emergencies and critical situations.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company procedures.
• Lead and develop the Marine Operations team and drive improvements.
