Job summary

China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited invites an experienced SVP/VP, Relationship Management & Client Solutions, International Business to drive business development, client acquisition and fundraising across institutional, wealth management, pension, and intermediary channels in Hong Kong and international markets.

You will build strategic client relationships, originate opportunities, and lead commercialization initiatives to support the firm’s growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
• 7–15 years of experience in asset management, investment management, private banking, wealth management, institutional sales, fundraising, distribution, or other financial services sectors.
• Demonstrated track record in client acquisition, fundraising, business development, and relationship management.
• Strong understanding of investment solutions including Mutual Funds, ETFs, Active, Passive, and Alternative Investments.
• Proven ability to originate and convert business opportunities into measurable commercial outcomes.
• Ability to manage complex initiatives and collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented with ownership and accountability.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with asset owners, distributors, wealth managers, pension platforms, consultants, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
• Drive client acquisition, fundraising, and business development across institutional and intermediary client segments.
• Originate, structure, and execute business opportunities across active, passive, and alternative investment solutions.
• Achieve fundraising, asset growth, and commercial objectives.
• Identify prospective clients and distribution partners to expand the firm’s network and market presence.
• Assess client needs and market opportunities and translate insights into commercially viable solutions.
• Support product launches, go-to-market strategies, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional projects from inception through implementation and coordinate stakeholders to ensure delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor developments, regulatory changes, and evolving client needs to identify growth opportunities.
