Job summary

Luxoft in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Global Application Support professional to manage trading, post-trade and PnL systems. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and traders to ensure reliable production environments.

The role includes release participation, incident management, and monitoring end-to-end trade flows, with a focus on automating processes in collaboration with Dev teams. International relocation is open.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application support experience.
• Knowledge of client/server architecture, Linux, AWS, Kafka and Docker.
• Scripting with Bash; Python or Perl is beneficial.
• Practical knowledge of FIX protocol.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL).
• Understanding of trade flow and PnL concepts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to summarize complex issues for senior management.
• Open to international relocation.

Responsibilities

• Manage trading and risk platform readiness from pre-trading to post-trade.
• Monitor and support end-to-end transaction flow across the platform.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve alerts to minimize outages.
• Incident management and PM reporting following procedures.
• Problem tracking and resolution through to closure.
• Communicate with Investment management, Portfolio managers, Operations, Development, Compliance and Infrastructure.
• Support scheduled changes with Dev teams.
• Oversee automated processes, scheduling, alerts and reporting.
• Handle users' requests from intake to closure.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive automation improvements.
