Job summary
Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Operation Specialist to join our global trade operations team in Hong Kong. You will handle a high volume of international shipping transactions and ensure accurate, timely processing of documentation.
The successful candidate will manage trade finance documentation (L/C and D/P), coordinate daily shipping activities, and liaise with banks, vendors and internal teams to meet deadlines while maintaining meticulous records.
Qualifications
- Experience with high-volume international shipping and trade finance operations.
- Strong knowledge of L/C and D/P documentation.
- Excellent communication across internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of international shipping transactions and documentation.
- Manage trade finance documentation, L/C and D/P.
- Coordinate daily shipping and international trade operations.
- Review and maintain shipping, trade, and transaction records.
- Liaise with banks, vendors and external parties on documentation.
- Monitor progress to meet deadlines.
- Identify and resolve documentation or operational issues.
- Support ad hoc operational duties as required.
