Job summary

Point72 is seeking an analyst to support the Operations team in Hong Kong, focusing on end-to-end trade lifecycle management across global markets. You will reconcile positions, settle trades, and investigate breaks while coordinating with traders, prime brokers, and internal teams to drive operational excellence.

The role requires a foundational understanding of multiple asset classes, corporate actions processing, and strong Excel/SQL skills, with exposure to Bloomberg and reporting duties

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in middle office operations, trade support, or related function within a financial institution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas, pivot tables; experience with macros or scripting; SQL or similar data-analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and trade confirmation/settlement workflows; ability to analyze data and produce operational reports.
• Hands-on experience processing corporate actions, including assessment of mandatory and voluntary event impacts.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills; ability to work across Asian and European trading hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end trade lifecycle management across global markets for multiple product types.
• Reconcile daily positions and cash across counterparties; investigate and resolve breaks to minimize risk.
• Coordinate with traders, PMs, clearing brokers, and internal teams to resolve lifecycle issues.
