Requires 10+ years in buy-side risk, Bloomberg/Excel proficiency, English and Mandarin fluency; on-site in HK with international exposure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk management in asset management.
• Strong buy-side investment risk expertise.
• On-site experience outside mainland China.
• Knowledge of HK regulations; global markets.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese helpful.
• CFA/FRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio oversight to ensure trading aligns with regulatory rules and mandate limits.
• Risk control across market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
• Analytics & tooling for performance attribution and risk analyses; upgrade models.
• Pre-deal evaluation of projects and initiatives to provide independent risk opinions.
• System & data upgrades for risk software and data governance.
