Job summary

eFinancialCareers Ltd. seeks a dedicated risk management professional to support risk oversight of its global asset management business in Hong Kong. You will monitor portfolios, assess market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks, and provide independent risk opinions for new strategies.

Required: 3+ years in buy-side risk, English and Mandarin fluency, and on-the-ground experience outside mainland China. Proficiency in Bloomberg and Excel; FRM/CFA preferred. Cantonese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields.
• 3+ years of risk management experience in asset management, securities firms, or financial institutions.
• Mandatory on-the-ground work experience physically based outside mainland China.
• Solid knowledge of global financial instruments across fixed income, FX, equity and derivatives; good understanding of Hong Kong regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investment monitoring across diverse portfolios and ensure compliance with laws and mandates.
• Monitor and manage market, credit, liquidity and operational risk.
• Perform performance attribution and risk analysis for portfolios and enrich analytical tools and models.
• Conduct ex-ante risk assessments for new projects and investment strategies; issue independent risk opinions.
• Support the development and governance of risk management systems and data.
