ActusRayPartners is seeking a Risk Manager to join the Risk team in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for independent investment and operational risk, working closely with the Investment team to maintain risk controls and monitor limits across strategies.

You will lead the Risk team’s day-to-day operations, oversee pre-trade and post-trade monitoring, and prepare risk reports for the Risk Committee. Strong English, analytics, and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Formación

• 7+ years’ experience in asset management, investment consulting or securities with focus on investment risk and analytics.
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics or Mathematics-based degree.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies and controls in investment operations or asset management.
• Actuarial training an advantage.
• CFA or FRM an advantage.
• Strong numerical skills; stochastic knowledge an advantage.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
• Native fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a robust risk management framework in line with the Risk Management Policy.
• Oversee day-to-day functions of the Risk team and advise on investment risk limits.
• Supervise pre-trade and post-trade monitoring, address breaches and ensure resolution.
• Review risk limits within OMS/PMS (Eze or external) as appropriate.
• Monitor VaR and risk profile consistency across funds and accounts.
• Monitor counterparty risk and enhance credit risk monitoring.
• Conduct risk reviews including best-execution, TCA and vendor due diligence.
• Produce risk reports for Risk Committee and provide insights.
• Handle regulatory reporting related to short selling and other investment risks.
• Represent the firm professionally with clients and service providers.
