Job summary

1201 UOB Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Global Markets Operations professional to provide end-to-end operational support across FX, money market, derivatives, and fixed income products. You will ensure timely trade reporting and collaborate with Front Office and Head Office on regulatory matters.

The role requires a degree in a related field and at least 3 years’ experience in Global Markets Operations, with proficiency in SWIFT, RTGS and Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, finance or related discipline required.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in related field.
• Hands-on experience with Global Markets Operations processes.
• Knowledge of SWIFT, RTGS, and eMBT/eCMT usage is essential.
• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end operational support for Global Markets products.
• Ensure timely daily submission of OTC derivatives trade reporting to HKMA.
• Investigate and liaise with counterparties to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit regular reports (BASEL, RMB Returns, BIS Survey).
• Consolidate funding movement for nostro accounts and funding requirements.
• Perform reconciliation for nostro accounts, brokerage invoices and holdings.
• Process corporate actions and settlement of order executions.
• Monitor AML alerts and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support SOP maintenance and ad-hoc projects.
