Job summary

STARTEAM GLOBAL is seeking a seasoned logistics leader in Hong Kong to supervise a logistics team, optimize cross-border processes, and coordinate global shipments. You will analyse delivery issues, negotiate with carriers, and ensure ERP postings are accurate while driving cost efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics/shipping for international customers, strong leadership, and excellent English with local language skills. Occasional travel to regional offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher education in logistics/ supply chain.
• At least 5 years logistics & shipping experience for international customers (B2B).
• Strong leadership, communication and teamwork across multicultural environments.
• Proficient in ERP and SAP; able to negotiate shipping costs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations for the assigned team.
• Analyse and resolve logistics and delivery issues per policies.
• Calculate shipping costs, compare options, and negotiate with carriers.
• Coordinate shipments with internal and external partners locally and globally.
• Prepare shipping documents and ensure correct ERP postings.
• Lead or participate in cross-location/global logistics projects.
• Facilitate cross-department communication and process optimization.
• Provide logistics trainings to staff.
• Support ad-hoc duties as assigned.
