Job summary

Coins.ph is seeking an experienced Lawyer (Global Licensing & Regulatory Affairs) to lead licensing efforts for payments, remittance, e-money, and crypto services across jurisdictions, including Hong Kong. This role requires deep regulatory expertise and hands-on licensing experience, coordinating with regulators, external counsel, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• LL.B. or equivalent law degree with qualifying status.
• 5+ years post-qualification legal experience, 3+ in financial services/fintech.
• Proven track record securing licenses in EU, LatAm, Africa, South Asia, or HK.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, e-money licensing, crypto regulations.
• Excellent English drafting; Chinese a plus.
• Ability to coordinate across time zones and cross-functional teams.

• Develop and execute a global licensing strategy across multiple regions.
• Prepare, review, and submit license applications with regulators.
• Coordinate with external counsel, consultants, and regulators.
• Align regulatory requirements with product and operations.
• Monitor global regulatory developments and advise management.
