Job summary

Coins.ph is seeking an experienced Lawyer (Global Licensing & Regulatory Affairs) to lead licensing for payments, remittance, e-money, and virtual asset services across multiple jurisdictions.

You will coordinate with regulators, external counsel, and internal teams to develop licensing strategy, prepare applications, and ensure compliance. Strong English drafting and cross-border project management are required; Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and strong post-qualification experience.
• 5+ years in law with 3+ years in fintech, payments or crypto.
• Proven track record securing licenses across multiple regions.
• Excellent English drafting and regulator-facing communication.
• Ability to manage licensing projects across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global licensing roadmap across regions.
• Prepare, review, and submit license applications with regulators.
• Coordinate with external counsel, consultants and authorities.
• Align regulatory requirements with product design with Compliance/Risk.
• Monitor developments and advise on market-entry requirements.
• Draft and maintain licensing policies, reports, and documentation.
• Represent Coins.ph in regulatory discussions and industry groups.
