Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd seeks an IT Business Analyst to capture and refine business requirements, write epics and user stories, and manage the product backlog. You will model customer journeys, translate requirements, and collaborate with cross-regional teams to deliver complex digital enhancements.

The role requires 2+ years in business analysis, proficiency with Jira/Confluence, and knowledge of discretionary portfolio management and related investment lifecycle flows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Business Analysis or related experience.
• Experience in using JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Discretionary Portfolio Management, Fund, Private Equity and Alternative Investment and related trade, post trade and product service lifecycle flows.
• Proven ability to work across regions whilst maintaining a global perspective.
• Sound judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems.
• Ability to adopt a growth mindset and proactively identify and bring about change opportunities.
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective change process.
• University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
• Effective communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills.
• Excellent decision making and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyse and document business requirements, create epics and write user stories; manage product backlog.
• Translate business requirements and designs into detailed functional requirements.
• Create analyses of customer journeys and product functionality.
• Prioritise product backlog with insights from business knowledge and analysis.
• Investigate operational issues and propose high-level solution options.
• Deliver complex customer experience enhancements from design through to release.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across geographies to estimate delivery and manage transitions.
• Identify and manage risks and blockers to delivery and quality.
