Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Product Owner and Product Business Analyst to join the Asset Management Platforms team. The role focuses on defining, prioritising and delivering technology capabilities for the global Multi-Asset investment platform.

You will partner with Portfolio Managers and front-office stakeholders, manage backlogs, and translate business needs into practical IT solutions, while driving change delivery across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering business, technology, or operating model change within asset management, investment management, wealth management, or institutional investment environments.
• Strong knowledge of Multi-Asset investing, asset allocation, portfolio construction, investment monitoring and risk management concepts.
• Proven ability to partner with Portfolio Managers, Investment Professionals and front-office stakeholders to define and deliver business solutions.
• Experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Management, Investment Change or related roles supporting investment platforms.
• Strong understanding of front-office investment processes and associated technology ecosystems.
• Demonstrated success in leading requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, prioritisation, and solution delivery activities.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex business and technology environments.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Defining and prioritising product features to align with business objectives.
• Managing product backlogs and ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.
• Partner with investment professionals and business stakeholders to identify opportunities that enhance investment decision-making.
• Act as the key point of contact between business users and technology teams, ensuring priorities align with business objectives.
• Develop understanding of Multi-Asset investment processes and translate business needs into practical technology improvements.
• Lead stakeholder discussions, workshops and analysis activities to define business requirements and future operating capabilities.
• Drive product and platform enhancements by balancing priorities, UX and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new capabilities, system enhancements and transformational change initiatives.
