Vuly is expanding its Hong Kong office and seeks a Vice President to lead governance, risk, and compliance across Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China and the US. This role is hands-on, with no large team, reporting directly to the CEO and Founder, and based onsite in Hong Kong.

You will draft policies, build registers, map workflows, manage entity filings, insurance reviews, and align operations, tax and treasury under one governance framework while shaping the regional strategy and culture.

Qualificações

• Proven corporate governance experience helping a business scale significantly, including building SOPs, registers, policies, compliance frameworks, reporting and organisational structure
• Track record of personally building governance documents, SOPs and registers, not just overseeing others who do
• Experience mapping, documenting and enforcing workflows and internal controls across multiple offices or jurisdictions
• Working knowledge of tax, treasury and banking across multiple jurisdictions
• A degree in business, commerce, law or a related field
• 10+ years’ senior experience in corporate governance, operations or general management in a scaling business
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to evaluate operating businesses
• Working knowledge of Hong Kong’s business, regulatory and banking environment
• Comfortable working without a large support team, and moving between strategic and detailed work on the same day
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Responsabilidades

• Build and run corporate governance across the group, including SOPs, policies, registers and board reporting.
• Map and standardise workflows, ensuring policy adherence across all offices.
• Own entity filings, registers, deadlines, insurance reviews and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee operations, tax and treasury, aligning governance across the group.
• Lead the Hong Kong office, setting standards and operating cadence.
• Set up the office, banking, premises and service providers.
• Manage external advisers to ensure coordinated, actionable guidance.
