Job summary

WilliamSELECT, a fast-growing luxury e-commerce platform, seeks an experienced Finance Director to lead financial strategy across multiple international markets including Mainland China, APAC and the Middle East. You will partner with the CEO and market leaders to drive profitable growth, governance, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in CFO/Finance Director or VP Finance roles.
• Experience in high-growth retail, luxury, e-commerce or omnichannel businesses.
• Mandatory: professional experience managing finance, tax and currency matters in Mainland China.
• Proven experience building or scaling finance functions (FP&A and analytics).
• Experience implementing or improving ERP, financial systems, reporting tools and finance automation.
• Strong commercial acumen linking financial performance to business strategy.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytics with tools like Power BI and automated reporting systems.
• Understanding of financial, tax, regulatory and currency requirements across Mainland China, APAC and the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the company's overall financial strategy for sustainable growth and profitability.
• Oversee P&L across multiple markets, including budgets, forecasts and monthly reviews.
• Drive margins, cost optimisation, and disciplined capital allocation.
• Manage cash flow and working capital to support regional expansion.
• Partner with CEO and market GMs on key commercial and financial decisions.
• Build and maintain financial controls, governance frameworks across markets.
• Oversee treasury, tax compliance and audit across jurisdictions.
• Lead financial reporting and compliance for international entities.
