Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking an Engineering Director for a leading EMS manufacturer. This senior executive role oversees a global engineering organization across regions, driving NPI, innovation, customer collaboration and team leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in electrical/electronic/mechanical engineering, 15+ years of EMS/ODM leadership, proven track record leading large teams, and strong skills in strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of engineering leadership experience within EMS, ODM, or electronics manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading large, global engineering teams.
• Strong background in NPI, product development, and manufacturing environments.
• Broad technical knowledge across hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical engineering.
• Experience in IoT, embedded systems, or smart products is an advantage.
• Strong customer-facing, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
• Fluent English required; Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global engineering team covering hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, and related disciplines
• Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) from product design through mass production
• Partner closely with customers to deliver successful Manufacturing projects
• Ensure best practices in design, quality, manufacturability, and cost management
• Manage engineering resources, project execution, and global capacity planning
• Drive innovation in IoT, AI, cloud-connected, and embedded technologies
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to achieve business objectives
• Act as the key engineering contact for strategic customers and stakeholders
• Establish engineering KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives across global sites
