Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited seeks an experienced engineering leader to oversee the global OEM Engineering function for a global EMS-focused business. You will drive NPI, manage a diverse engineering team across hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical domains, and partner with customers to deliver manufacturing projects.

The role requires strong leadership, broad technical knowledge, and a commercially minded approach with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering leadership experience within EMS, ODM, or electronics manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading large, global engineering teams.
• Strong background in NPI, product development, and manufacturing environments.
• Broad technical knowledge across hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical engineering.
• Experience in IoT, embedded systems, or smart products is an advantage.
• Fluent English; Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global engineering team covering hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, and related disciplines.
• Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) from product design through mass production.
• Partner closely with customers to deliver successful Manufacturing projects.
• Ensure best practices in design, quality, manufacturability, and cost management.
• Manage engineering resources, project execution, and global capacity planning.
• Drive innovation in IoT, AI, cloud-connected, and embedded technologies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to achieve business objectives.
• Act as the key engineering contact for strategic customers and stakeholders.
• Establish engineering KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives across global sites.
