Microchip USA is seeking an International Sourcing Specialist in Hong Kong to unlock inventory opportunities outside Mainland China, notably in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Korea, for North American OEM/EMS clients.

You will lead global supply-channel scouting, fast spot sourcing, and aggressive price negotiations while coordinating logistics with HK warehousing and forwarders. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Formación

• 1–3 years of hands-on sourcing or buying experience in electronics distribution or semiconductor supply chains.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin.
• Proficient with global digital trading platforms and open-market sourcing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Global supply channel scouting outside Mainland China, focusing on Taiwan, Singapore, and SE Asia.
• Respond quickly to high-margin component requirements and RFQs from US and HK teams.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with international suppliers.
• Coordinate with international forwarders and HK warehouse to ensure compliant imports or drop-ships to the US HQ.
• Perform initial vendor screening to mitigate risk and prevent counterfeit components.
