Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a senior leader to own and shape the global data centre and colocation strategy, ensuring scalable, low-latency infrastructure for trading workflows. You will oversee expansions, new site deployments, and multi-vendor collaborations with trading, networking and engineering teams to deliver resilient, high-performance infrastructure.

The role demands 10+ years in data centres or trading tech, strong vendor partnerships, and Mandarin plus English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across data centres, colocation, telecommunications, network infra, or trading tech.
• Proven track record leading data centre expansions or large-scale infra programmes.
• Strong understanding of exchange colocation environments and low-latency infra.
• Experience evaluating data centre facilities, carriers and service providers.
• Solid knowledge of data centre operations: power, cooling, racks, cabling, capacity planning.
• Vendor management, commercial negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing infra budgets, timelines and multi-vendor projects.
• Good understanding of network connectivity, private circuits, and exchange connectivity.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on project execution.
• Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the firm's global data centre and colocation strategy across key trading locations.
• Lead colocation expansions, new site deployments, and infrastructure rollouts.
• Evaluate and onboard data centre providers, exchanges, carriers, and infra partners.
• Manage exchange connectivity, cross-connects, private circuits, and low-latency network infra.
• Oversee capacity planning, hardware lifecycle management, and infra optimisation.
• Deliver major infrastructure projects including exchange migrations, facility upgrades, and new market launches.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and colocation providers.
• Partner with trading, networking, and engineering teams to support business growth and resilience.
• Ensure infra meets performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Act as the senior escalation point for strategic infrastructure initiatives.
