Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an executive to lead the Accounting Operations Center, aligning with corporate finance objectives across AP, AR, GL, GTN, costing and tax. You will drive standardization, automation, and high-quality closes while mentoring a cross-regional team.

Required 15+ years in accounting/finance, 5–7 years in shared services, and strong ERP experience (SAP S/4HANA/Oracle). Fluency in English and strategic collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
• 5–7 years in shared services or accounting operations center leadership
• Big 4 background is a strong advantage
• Proven leadership of large, geographically dispersed teams
• Deep expertise in full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, Tax, Costing, GTN)
• ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA or Oracle
• Strong process optimization, transformation, and project management skills
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, and data analytics capabilities
• Foundational understanding of AI and digital finance technologies
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Accounting Operations Center strategy
• Oversee AP, AR, GL, GTN, costing, and tax compliance with focus on standardization and service excellence
• Ensure SLAs and KPIs across accounting processes
• Lead process optimization, automation, and transformation initiatives
• Drive faster, higher-quality quarter-end and year-end closes
• Provide strategic insights for long-term financial planning
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Procurement, Treasury, and Internal Audit
• Champion SAP S/4HANA deployment, automation, and BI tools
• Enable AI-driven accounting insights through data analytics
• Mentor a high-performing cross-regional accounting team
• Govern outsourced BPO partners for quality and compliance
