Job summary

Johnson Electric Group」 is seeking a Senior Manager/Director Finance Shared Service to lead the Accounting Transactions division across China and Hong Kong. The role drives the Asia Shared Services roadmap, standardizes policies across sites, and partners with Group Treasurer on liquidity, financing and regulatory compliance.

Oracle ERP rollout and finance transformation are key priorities. The candidate brings 15+ years in accounting/finance, experience leading a shared services environment,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of accounting and finance experience, including 5+ years of experience managing and leading a finance shared services environment.
• Experience in public company compliance requirements and China accounting.
• Experience in Oracle.
• Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation/ digitization of financial shared service operations.
• Broad understanding of interaction between Financial Shared Services organization and the business unit Finance and other operation units.
• Experience in leading process excellence and performance improvement.
• Ability to think strategically, manage uncertainty and risk, and balance multiple competing priorities.
• A team player with ability to operate in both matrix and traditional organizational structures.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical or financial information to a non-technical audience.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Mandarin).
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
• Ensure company policies are fully understood, followed and monitored for compliance.
• Deep work experience with internal and external auditors.
• Primary working locations in China and Hong Kong with occasional travels to other countries.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and lead the implementation/digitization of the Asia Financial Shared Services roadmap to achieve efficiency and effectiveness of core accounting and finance processes (e.g. Invoicing and Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets and Project Managements, Bank and Intercompany Transactions)
• Work with different sites in China on standardizing the finance policy and processes
• Work with Group Treasurer to implement the Group’s treasury activities in China, including liquidity and cash-flow management, banking relationships, financing, foreign-exchange risk and regulatory compliance
• Global roll out of the Company’s ERP system (Oracle)
• Champion change management program associated with enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives
• Work with other departments to achieve the Company’s business and functional initiatives (e.g. new business flows, new legal entities setup etc)
• Create and implement a customer service culture, including establishing and reporting on key performance metrics that measure and monitor the effectiveness and service levels of the Financial Shared Services organization.
• Develop, implement and maintain system of effective internal controls within the Financial Shared Services
• Lead month-end close and external audit for the Financial Shared Services organization
• Lead the migration and integration of newly acquired businesses into the Financial Shared Services organization.

Johnson Electric (JE) is hiring a Senior Manager/Director, to lead the accounting transactions division of our Finance Shared Service Centre in China.
