Club Manhattan Company Limited in Central, Hong Kong seeks an experienced General Manager to oversee all club operations, delivering a vibrant member experience and maintaining high occupancy. You will lead strategy with Directors, manage finances, guest relations, events, and staff development to sustain excellence.

Fluency in English and Chinese is required, with substantial hospitality or private club experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
• Extensive knowledge and experience in private club, bar, restaurant, and/or hotel operations.
• Self-directed with a high level of initiative.
• Excellent event management and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operations of the club.
• Budget and monitor club finances, including sales and expenses.
• Promote the club and attract new customers.
• Manage guest and VIP relations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, hire, and train all staff.

Club Manhattan is a Private Club with a live music lounge, bar area, and five private rooms for executives to enjoy vibrant live music and taste fine whiskies, wines, and artisan cocktails, situated in the Convention Shopping Arcade, in between the HKCEC & Renaissance Harbour View Hotel in Wan Chai.

Job Description

We are looking for a personable and experienced candidate who will manage overall operations of Club Manhattan. The General Manager will work closely with the Directors and will be responsible for creating an enriching member experience, delivering a strong community spirit through operational excellence and ensuring the Club maintains high occupancy.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• Handling day-to-day operations
• Budget and monitor Club finances, including sales and expenses
• Promoting the Club and finding new ways to bring in more customers
• Manage guest & VIP relations, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Recruiting, hiring, and training all staff

Qualifications
