Job summary

Nittan Capital Asia Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Settlement Officer to support pricing, settlement and post-trade processing for FX Options, IR Derivatives, FX and Money Market deposits. You will interact with brokers, counterparties, banks and clients, ensuring accurate trade capture and timely processing.

The role requires a strong English-speaking capability, composure under pressure and a keen eye for detail within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of relevant experience in settlement, trade support, middle office or financial operations.
• Previous interdealer broker or money broker background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FX Options, IRDs, FX and Money Market products.
• Experience pricing FX Options using Bloomberg or pricing systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle from capture to settlement.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and financial-market information systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Handle trade confirmation, pricing, settlement and post-trade processing for FX Options, Interest Rate Derivatives, Spot and Forward FX transactions, and Money Market deposits and related products
• Support the pricing and valuation of FX Options using Bloomberg and other internal or external pricing systems
• Manage multiple priorities and complete challenging or time-sensitive tasks accurately within short deadlines
• Verify pricing inputs, trade details and settlement information for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure transactions are accurately captured in the relevant systems
• Prepare, review and follow up on trade confirmations and settlement instructions
• Liaise with brokers, counterparties, banks, clients and internal teams to resolve trade discrepancies, pricing queries and settlement issues
• Monitor outstanding confirmations, unmatched trades, settlement failures, pricing exceptions and payment status
• Perform daily reconciliations of trades, cash movements, pricing records and settlement records
• Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with internal policies, operational controls and regulatory requirements
