Job summary

Combuilder Pte Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Full Stack Developer with foundational to intermediate AI/ML knowledge to build intelligent, scalable software with AI features. You will collaborate across teams on projects using Waterfall or Agile methodologies, depending on client needs.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding in frontend and backend, integrating AI models, building RESTful APIs, and delivering responsive UX while working with data scientists to test and deploy models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 0–5 years of experience in software or full stack development.
• Proficiency in at least one frontend framework: Vue.js, React or Angular.
• Backend development experience with: Java Spring Boot, Node.js, Python (Flask/FastAPI), or similar.
• Basic understanding of databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts: Supervised/unsupervised learning, Model inference vs training.
• Exposure to AI tools/frameworks (academic or project-based experience acceptable): TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc
• Familiarity with GitLab, Kubernetes, Jira.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack web applications (frontend and backend)
• Integrate pre-built or internally developed AI/ML models into applications
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and backend services
• Support AI feature development such as chatbots, recommendation systems, or automation testing tools
