Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Full Stack Engineer in Hong Kong to join our engineering team. You will design, develop, and enhance high-performance, scalable applications using Golang on the backend and SvelteKit on the frontend, with GraphQL APIs and microservices architecture.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing performance, and contributing to system architecture while upholding engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional Full Stack/Software/Backend Engineer experience.
• Hands-on with Golang, SvelteKit or modern frontend frameworks, microservices, and SQL (PostgreSQL/MS SQL).
• Familiarity with JavaScript, GraphQL APIs, CI/CD, automated testing, and Git version control.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack apps using Golang for backend and SvelteKit for frontend.
• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain GraphQL APIs.
• Build and maintain microservices-based, scalable architectures.
• Design and optimize databases with PostgreSQL and MS SQL.
• Develop efficient SQL queries and tune database performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations to deliver quality software.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding, testing, and maintainability standards.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and reliability.
• Support and mentor junior engineers as needed.
