Job summary

OnTheList is seeking a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer to own and evolve our core applications for the Asia Pacific & Middle East region. You will design, implement, test, and maintain full-stack solutions across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and integrations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

You will provide L2 support, translate business needs into technical implementations, and drive best practices in CI/CD, security, and observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience in production environments.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web tech (React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS).
• Solid API experience with RESTful and GraphQL services.
• Relational databases design, SQL queries, and data integrity.
• Experience with AWS and cloud deployments.
• Familiarity with Shopify ecosystem and app development is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned applications and supporting systems.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack solutions including APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Provide L2 application support and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with APAC market users and cross-functional teams.
• Work with external vendors on configuration, integration, and deployments.
• Monitor performance, improve stability, security, and reliability.
• Follow CI/CD and release management best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases.
