Job summary

Hypebeast Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to own end-to-end feature delivery across backend and frontend.

You will work with product, operations, and app teams to translate business needs into practical solutions, and you will develop Symfony/FastAPI modules, Vue 3 components, and APIs for app integrations including Odoo. You will optimize search with Elasticsearch, ensure data integrity in MySQL, and deploy in cloud/Docker environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development with leadership experience.
• Proficiency in PHP, Python, or Node.js and hands-on experience with Symfony or FastAPI.
• Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL) and data integrity.
• Hands-on frontend experience with Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Elasticsearch for search and filtering; cloud and container technologies (AWS, Docker).
• Ability to write and maintain automated tests (unit/integration/API).
• Excellent English communication; Cantonese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of full-stack features from design to post-release support.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and app teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Develop and extend Sylius/Symfony modules with maintainable domain models.
• Build reusable Vue 3 + TypeScript components and front-end architecture.
• Design and maintain APIs and integrations with native apps and ERP systems like Odoo.
• Improve search with Elasticsearch and ensure reliable data indexing and syncing.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews; address technical debt.
• Deploy and support apps in cloud and container environments; troubleshoot issues.
