Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Hong Kong is seeking a web project support professional to assist project managers in managing and supporting web projects. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Information Technology, experience in large-scale web project development, and strong interpersonal communication skills in both English and Chinese. You will work independently in a dynamic IT environment, supporting various phases of project development and testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in web project development.
• Experience in SDLC from requirements gathering to production release.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM and SA in managing and supporting web projects.
• Compile user requirements and conduct system analysis and design.
• Analyse solutions with vendors and in-house teams.
• Conduct system tests, regression tests, and DR drills.

Job description

• Assist PM and SA in managing and supporting web projects.
• Compile user requirements, conduct system analysis and design for both business and technical details.
• Analyse the solutions with the third-party vendors and in-house development teams.
• Conduct system test, regression test and DR drill on the application software, and support users in UAT, such as setting up testing environments.
• Identify, analyse and resolve project issues; and initiate corrective actions.
• University degree / Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline with minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience in large scale web project development and SDLC from requirements gathering, analysis, development, UAT and production release.
• Experience in some of the followings would be an added advantage:
• Node.js
• ReactJS
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Eager to learn in a fast-paced and dynamic IT environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills in both English and Chinese.
