Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Associate Researcher to support a private family foundation focused on positive education in primary and secondary schools. Reporting to a Senior Researcher, you will contribute to research projects, data analysis and reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, 3–5 years of research experience, and strong written and communication skills. Fluency in Chinese and English is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop research plans, data collection and dissemination amongst stakeholders.
• Collect data, maintain databases, and create reports.
• Provide statistical insights using spreadsheets, graphs, and presentations.
• Conduct research and provide insights on Positive Education trends locally and overseas.
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather quantitative and qualitative data on positive education in schools.
• Create deliverables that promote public awareness and engagement.
• Support team members in delivery of projects and facilitate events, seminars, etc.

Foundation-Associate Researcher (Primary,Secondary Education)

At ConnectedGroup, we are supporting a local private family foundation working in the efforts to support education initiatives, particularly around mental healthcare and positive education, in the search for an Associate Researcher.

Reporting into a Senior Researcher, the Associate Researcher will be responsible to support research projects related to positive education within primary and secondary schools. We are looking for a determined and analytical individual, with strong passion for research, data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Developing research plans, data collection and dissemination amongst different stakeholders


• Collecting and inputting data, as well as maintaining databases and creating reports


• Providing statistical solutions and recommendations, through the usage of different tools (spreadsheets, graphs, presentations, reports).


• Conducting research and providing insights on local and overseas Positive Education trends


• Liaising with different stakeholders to gather quantitative and qualitative data on positive education within schools


• Creating deliverables that promote public awareness and engagement


• Supporting team members in the delivery of projects under other teams and initiatives


• Assisting in the facilitation of events, professional development seminars, workshops, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Education, or similar


• 3-5 years of professional experience, with strong research and data analysis experience, ideally within a non-profit organization or the education sector


• Excellent written and communications skills, time management and attention to detail


• Fluency in both Chinese and English is highly desired


• Salary range HKD25,000 - HKD30,000 per month.
