Job summary

MTR Corporation Limited Hong Kong is seeking a capable Civil/Protection Team supervisor to oversee civil assets maintenance along operating railway lines. You will supervise technical and contractor staff, drive maintenance programmes, and review works in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include site inspections within railway protection areas, daily progress reporting, and acting as Competent Person and Lookout-person to ensure safety and compliance on

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Civil/Structural/Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant site experience.
• Possession of Technically Competent Person T1 (Minor Works) certificate.
• Valid Hong Kong driving licence class 1 and 2 preferred.

• Assist in supervising a team of technical and contractor staff for civil assets and trackside facilities maintenance.
• Prepare maintenance programmes and work orders; review method statements.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of works.
• Carry out inspections within railway protection areas to protect structures and installations.
• Compile daily reports on progress and impact of construction activities.
• Perform the role of Competent Person and Lookout-person on railway premises.

Education

Diploma / Certificate in Civil / Structural / Construction Engineering, Building Studies or a related discipline

Requirements

• Diploma / Certificate in Civil / Structural / Construction Engineering, Building Studies or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
• Possession of Technically Competent Person T1 (Minor Works) Certificate
• Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving licence class 1 and 2 is preferred
• Sound knowledge of civil or structural defects investigation and rectification, as well as experience in landscape maintenance or civil engineering works would be an advantage

Remarks

• Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
