MTR Corporation Limited 香港鐵路有限公司 is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to monitor railway structures, check construction setting-out and coordinate survey work. The role involves maintaining equipment, recording quality, and performing geotechnical instrumentation monitoring.

The ideal candidate has a Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Land Surveying with 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years at supervisory level, and knowledge of tunnel surveying and laser scanning is

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Land Surveying or related discipline.
• 8 years' relevant experience, of which 3 years should be at supervisory level.
• Knowledge of survey monitoring in tunnel environment, laser scanning, real-time monitoring and geotechnical instrumentation is an advantage.

• Perform survey monitoring of the railway structures and check the setting-out of construction works carried out in areas under railway protection surveillance.
• Maintain survey equipment, plan / coordinate jobs and ensure the quality of works / records.
• Conduct land surveying tasks and geotechnical instrumentation monitoring.

• Knowledge of survey monitoring in tunnel environment, laser scanning, real-time monitoring and geotechnical instrumentation is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with proactiveness and the ability to work independently

Remarks

• Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
• Required to perform shift duties and work under adverse weather and emergency situations
