Soho House Hong Kong is seeking excellent and outgoing individuals to join our team. You will prepare tables and waiter stations, support service and bar staff, and ensure adherence to our service standards while assisting junior colleagues.

You will lead timeliness of food & beverage service, manage cash handling via POS, coordinate equipment for events, and communicate menu details confidently to guests and the culinary team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years relevant work experience required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and set tables and waiter stations to standard.
• Support service and bar staff in service procedure.
• Adhere to company service standards in all regards.
• Support, encourage and assist junior staff.
• Facilitate order taking and cash handling; process into POS and relay to team/management.
• Lead and coordinate timeliness of all food & beverage service.
• Transport food to guests; clear and return utensils to steward area.
• Coordinate transportation and relocation of equipment for events and club spaces.
• Maintain strong menu/product knowledge and communicate to staff and guests.
• Be well informed about the club, membership and facilities.
• Be knowledgeable of allergies and dietary specs and facilitate communication with culinary team.
• Monitor and supervise cash handling and ensure balanced cash drops daily & nightly.
• Oversee a large section of guests and tables confidently.
• Be a role model and set an example of quality service; handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

The role…
We are seeking for excellent and outgoing individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities

To prepare and set tables and waiter stations in accordance with standard provided

To support all service and bar staff in their service procedure

To adhere to company service standards in all regards

To support, encourage and assist junior staff

To facilitate order taking and cash handling in an efficient and accurate way and process into POS station as well as relay these to service personnel or management

To lead & co-ordinate the timeliness of all food & beverage service

To transport food to guests and to clear and return used utensils and equipment to steward area when required

To support and coordinate transportation and relocation of equipment and furniture to ready event and club spaces

To have strong menu and product knowledge and to be able to confidently communicate this to subordinates, members and their guests

To be well informed about the club, membership and its facilities

To be knowledgeable of allergies and dietary specifications and to be able to effectively facilitate communication between guests/members and culinary team

To monitor and supervise cash handling of subordinates and to ensure balanced cash drops daily & nightly

To oversee a large section of guests and tables confidently and efficiently

To be a role model and set a clear example of quality service for subordinates

Ad-hoc job as assigned by team leaders

Requirements

3-5 years relevant work experience required

Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction Customer-oriented and outstanding people skills

Fluent in speaking English

Love to have fun at work and enjoy working with an energetic team

Can multitask and enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment

Possess a ‘’can-do’’ attitude and good communication skills
