Job summary

Dorsett Wanchai Hong Kong is seeking a reliable Housekeeping professional to supervise Room Attendants and ensure pristine guest rooms and public areas in a busy hotel in Wan Chai. The role requires leadership to train staff and daily inspections to maintain standards.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, be proactive in anticipating guest needs, and be comfortable working shifts. Cantonese, English and Mandarin abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate or above in Hospitality Management or related disciplines.
• 3-5 years' relevant experience in hotel industry with 1-2 years in similar position.
• Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Willing to work on shift.

Responsibilities

• Assuring the cleanliness and conditions of guest rooms and public areas which meet standards.
• Supervise the Room Attendant on the floor sections and conduct inspections on a daily basis.
• Work with Assistant Housekeeper to train the Room Attendant with proper work sequences regularly to maintain a consistent performance.
• Effective communication with other colleagues and guests.
• Present a professional manner and exhibit the ability to anticipate guests' needs.
• Experience in operating housekeeping equipment and basic knowledge of chemicals.
• Self-motivated, customer-oriented and able to work under pressure.
