Job summary

Challenge Group is seeking a Ground Operations & Security Officer to coordinate ground handling, security, and turnaround activities for safe, compliant, and on-time flight operations in Hong Kong. The role entails managing security, ramp safety, and crew logistics, with 2+ years in aviation operations, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to work 24/7 shifts.

Regulatory background checks are required.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in ground operations, cargo, or aviation security.
Experience in cargo airlines, freight forwarders, or GSA preferred.
Good knowledge of aircraft turnaround and ramp safety procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Valid HK Driving License (Class 1) preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure in 24/7 shift operations.
Must pass regulatory background checks.

Responsibilities

Coordinate ground handling and security tasks to support on-time departures.
Monitor aircraft access, perform security searches, and report irregularities.
Update TAC systems in real time and liaise with ground handlers.
Send build-up instructions and ensure cargo is loaded per priority.
Arrange crew hotel, transport, and catering; support charter and special operations.
Ensure compliance with ISA, local regulations, and regulatory background checks.
