The incumbent will report to Factory Operations Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Fleet, working in conjunction with related departments to manage the workflow along the supply chain and improve its coherence and efficiency. The Manager – Fleet Logistics will oversee inbound and outbound logistics and ensure these are in accordance with Company requirements and safety practices, and will maintain an optimal level of customer satisfaction, both internal and external, through smooth, effective and cost-efficient delivery services to key accounts, on trade accounts and ecommerce platforms. The Manager – Fleet Logistics will work closely with the Factory Management Team to ensure communication and coordination within Factory operations are structured and well-organized to support the expansion of the Company’s business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively lead and manage the Fleet team to comply with Company objectives to complete daily deliveries in an effective, efficient and customer-centric manner and to provide logistic support for all sales network expansion
- Review and improve the work efficiency of the Fleet team, improve productivity and work processes. To monitor the Budget forecasts and allocation of expenditure.
- Review and monitor truck loading, routing and manpower allocation on a regular basis to ensure workflow coherence and cost minimization
- Liaise with farms and related parties to ensure uninterrupted daily raw milk delivery
- Effectively manage the Company’s fleet of delivery vehicles and delivery equipment
- Coordinate and liaise with different departments to ensure the most cost-effective resources allocation and workplace safety is respected in all areas of production, warehousing and loading bay.
- Build strong partnerships with internal and external parties to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.
- Monitor operations and develop and implement corrective measures whenever necessary
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective day to day operations
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years relevant experiences in supply chain, fleet management, logistic operations, production operation, planning and control preferably in the manufacturing or factory with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of fleet cost control, repair and maintenance management and transportation governance.
- Proven ability to build reporting frameworks and management review mechanisms to support operational decision-making
- Creative and open-minded, proactive, flexible, dynamic, resourceful and energetic
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Must be proactive with a “can-do” working attitude and strong sense of responsibility
- A valid Hong Kong driving license is preferred
- Good PC Knowledge with well-versed in MS Office and Chinese input
