Fixed Asset Management, Assistant/ Deputy Manager (Banking, Max 38K)

Our client is a reputable leading China-based bank. They are seeking for a Fixed Asset Management Assistant / Deputy Manager to support their team.

Job Responsibilities

Benchmark against Head Office policies and local compliance requirements to formulate and revise the Hong Kong Branch's "Fixed Asset Management Measures" and related procedural workflows.

Lead and organize all departments bank-wide to conduct physical inventories of fixed assets and data cleansing to ascertain the exact baseline of assets.

Maintain the General Affairs Department's physical asset ledger, and regularly reconcile it with financial accounts and physical assets to ensure strict consistency among financial records, asset ledgers, and on-site physical items.

Responsible for the full lifecycle management of fixed assets, covering procurement acceptance, warehousing, allocation, maintenance, and scrap disposal.

Standardize processes for asset scrapping, auctioning, and eco-friendly clearance; ensure the implementation of site clearance and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recycling sign-offs to mitigate integrity and corruption risks.

Coordinate the centralized management of assets in public areas (such as meeting rooms), as well as the registration, handover, and write-off of dormitory supplies.

Drive the construction of the fixed asset management system, including UAT testing, system go-live, and the promotion of QR code/RFID tag binding.

Establish and manage a network of cross-departmental "Asset Liaisons" to ensure individual accountability.

Regularly submit asset inventory reports and summary tables; cooperate with internal and external audits and supervisory inspections to implement closed-loop rectification of identified issues.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or above.

Professional Qualifications: Not applicable (Professional certifications in administration, asset, or facilities management are preferred).

Skills: Proficient in computer software operations (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the application of large-scale asset management systems.

Language Proficiency: Good command of Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

Communication Skills: Excellent cross-departmental communication and coordination skills.

Writing Skills: Good written expression and report-writing skills in both Chinese and English.

Analytical Skills: Strong capability in asset data analysis and troubleshooting.

Management Skills: Ability to coordinate teams and drive large-scale projects.

Work Experience: 5 years or more of experience in fixed asset management, administration, or facilities management within large organizations or banks (Experience in system construction or large-scale inventory tracking is preferred).

Knowledge:

Familiar with bank fixed asset management processes, accounting depreciation, and audit compliance requirements.

Practical experience in asset full lifecycle management.

Understanding of the operation of physical asset management systems, including RFID and QR code technologies.

Other Requirements:

High integrity, objective and ethical work style, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Resilient under pressure, capable of handling high-pressure and complex cross-departmental matters.
