Job summary

GF Holdings (Hong Kong) Corporation Ltd invites a capable Associate to join the FIX Onboarding & Project Implementation team in Hong Kong. You will drive onboarding for FIX connections, coordinate with vendors, and support front-to-back systems including Fidessa, Tora and Bloomberg Terminal, ensuring smooth project execution.

Your role requires strong SQL and Linux/Ubuntu skills, fluency in English and Chinese, and the ability to work with stakeholders to resolve issues and implement

Qualifications

• Master or bachelor degree in Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the securities industry, with at least 2 years focused on FIX trading projects or system support.
• Solid understanding of Front Office (FO) and Middle Office (MO) application support, as well as FIX connectivity.
• Proficient in SQL database management and familiar with Linux/Ubuntu operating systems.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a keen sense of risk management.
• Team-oriented, responsible, and possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for front-to-back application systems, including Fidessa, Tora, Bloomberg Terminal (BBG), FIX gateway, and other in-house business platforms.
• Manage client FIX onboarding processes and vendor relationships.
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and facilitate system enhancements or bug fixes.
• Assist in conducting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing.
• Participate in project implementation, including business workflow analysis and solution development.
• Identify and prevent operational risks.
• Manage the team’s knowledge base and support documentation.
