Job summary

AXG (Solowin Holdings) seeks an experienced Compliance Officer & MLRO to lead the group’s regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, and risk management frameworks in Hong Kong. You will oversee ongoing due diligence for partners, manage regulatory communications and internal reviews, and drive a strong compliance culture across the organization.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to HK AML/CFT requirements, collaboration with financial regulators, and the leadership of comprehensive training programs

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or AML within financial services, fintech, PSPs, or banking.
• 2 years in a designated MLRO or senior compliance manager role.
• Strong knowledge of local AML/CFT regulatory frameworks and cross-border payments rules.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS/ICA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead AML/CFT and sanctions management, including monitoring and SAR/STR filings.
• Execute outbound/inbound KYB/EDD due diligence for partners and PSPs; oversee vendor and merchant due diligence.
• Lead internal compliance reviews and governance, develop and update policies and SOPs; liaise with regulators and conduct audits.
• Design, deliver and coordinate AML/CFT training to strengthen a compliance-first culture.
