Qualifications

• Proven fine-dining experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef ready to advance.
• Sound cooking techniques, ingredient knowledge and attention to detail.
• Effective kitchen communication in English and Chinese; Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
• The ability to maintain quality and composure during demanding services.
• A proactive approach to solving problems and supporting colleagues.
• Professional discipline, openness to feedback and pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned section, from preparation through to service.
• Execute dishes accurately according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Plan mise en place and maintain station readiness.
• Guide Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs in daily tasks and working methods.
• Monitor ingredient quality, stock rotation, portion control and wastage.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
