Job summary

PERSOL Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Banking & Finance IT projects in Hong Kong. The role covers end-to-end delivery from requirements through post go-live support, coordinating cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, vendors and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of project management experience in financial services IT, strong SDLC knowledge, and proficiency in English with the ability to work with Japanese

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in banking/financial services IT projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile or hybrid).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full project lifecycle for financial systems initiatives from requirements to post go-live support.
• Define scope, objectives, timelines, resources and budgets; monitor progress and changes.
• Act as primary client and internal stakeholder contact; facilitate clear communication between business users, IT and Japanese counterparts.
• Drive governance, status reporting and stakeholder updates to ensure on-track delivery.
