Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited seeks a strategic Financial Controller to oversee APAC operations from Hong Kong. You will drive financial control, costing, and regional reporting, partnering with manufacturing sites across APAC to optimise margins.

The successful candidate will hold a CPA qualification, have at least 12 years in financial management within manufacturing, and lead a high-performing finance team in a dynamic, global organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• HKICPA/CPA/ACCA qualification or equivalent professional membership.
• Minimum 12 years of financial management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end regional financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across APAC manufacturing operations.
• Oversee manufacturing facility finance, standard costing models, BOM, and inventory valuation across regional facilities.
• Recruit, mentor, and build a high-performing regional finance team.
• Partner with operational, supply chain, and commercial leaders to optimise costs and improve gross margins.
• Ensure adherence to regional tax regulations, statutory reporting, and governance standards.
• Drive ERP system enhancements and standardise financial reporting workflows across the region.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline.

• HKICPA / CPA / ACCA qualification or equivalent professional accounting membership is required.

• Minimum 12 years of relevant financial management experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing sector.

• Proven track record in APAC regional exposure and complex manufacturing cost accounting / standard costing.

• Demonstrated capability in building, mentoring, and leading regional finance teams.

• Strong technical proficiency in tier-one ERP systems

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
