Job summary

Links International seeks a senior financial controller to oversee financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and SFC FRR compliance in a securities-focused environment. You will lead end-to-end regulatory reporting for SFC Types 1, 4, 6 and 9 businesses, and coordinate audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 8-10 years solid experience in securities.
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in financial accounting or reporting within securities firms or financial institutions.
• In-depth knowledge of HKFRS and IFRS with practical experience in financial asset accounting and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in taxation is preferred.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Responsible for end-to-end Financial Regulatory Reporting (FRR) for SFC Types 1, 4, 6 and 9 Businesses
• Manage the full spectrum of daily financial accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and month-end closing procedures
• Handle consolidation, financial reporting, management reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Support tax affairs, including tax calculations, tax filings and internal tax reviews
• Manage financial audits and liaise with external auditors
• Oversee cash flow management and optimizing financial performance
• Implement and refine policies, processes, and controls to streamline regulatory reporting practices

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• At least 8-10 years solid experience in securities
• Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification is a plus
• Hands‑on experience in financial accounting or reporting within securities firms, or other financial institutions
• In‑depth knowledge of HKFRS and IFRS, coupled with practical experience in financial asset accounting and regulatory reporting
