Job summary

The Edge Contracting Services- Singapore & Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Lead to shape and deliver the future-state finance technology landscape for a major client in Hong Kong. You will focus on modernising the General Ledger and finance architecture, bridging finance, technology and data teams.

You will evaluate ERP options, including SAP or Oracle, define data governance, COA structures, and drive governance across multiple workstreams with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience delivering Finance Transformation, Finance Technology or Enterprise Transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of modern finance technology trends, including cloud platforms, data architecture and reporting ecosystems.
• Experience supporting finance systems modernisation, ERP implementation or General Ledger transformation programmes.
• Fluent Cantonese and/or Mandarin, with strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance, Technology, Data and Architecture teams to define the future-state finance technology landscape.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of a new General Ledger platform, including SAP, Oracle or other enterprise solutions.
• Provide expertise across finance systems, cloud technologies, data architecture and reporting platforms.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to gather requirements, challenge assumptions and drive strategic technology decisions.
• Assess and design how finance data should be captured, governed, integrated and leveraged across the organisation.
• Support discussions around General Ledger design, Chart of Accounts structures and finance operating models.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cloud and engineering teams to ensure alignment with wider technology objectives.
• Manage relationships with implementation partners, vendors and internal delivery teams.
• Drive programme governance, stakeholder engagement and transformation activities across multiple workstreams.
• Identify and mitigate programme risks while supporting delivery of key strategic outcomes.
