Job summary

CMU OmniClear Limited is seeking an experienced finance professional in Hong Kong to manage end-to-end financial operations, budgeting and consolidation for multiple entities. You will drive process improvements, oversee audits, tax planning, and treasury functions, and act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to support strategic decisions.

The role requires proficiency in HKFRS/IFRS/GAAP, strong Excel and BI skills, and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) required.
• At least 5 years in statutory audit, accounting, or corporate finance.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Advanced Excel (VBA/Macros) and BI/data-visualization tools; experience with major Finance ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end financial operations including GL, AP/AR, intercompany reconciliations, capex tracking, and group consolidation.
• Manage budgeting, FP&A, period-end closing, and statutory financial reporting per HKFRS/IFRS/GAAP.
• Ensure accurate expenditures and robust internal controls; maintain records.
• Drive process optimization and lead BI tool implementations to improve efficiency.
• Lead year-end audits, tax planning, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity.
• Act as Finance Business Partner by evaluating business cases and providing insights.
• Develop and monitor KPIs; conduct peer reviews and benchmarking to close performance gaps.
• Prepare dashboards and management accounting reports for units and senior management.
• Maintain finance policies/procedures for compliance and efficiency.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, consultants, and shareholders; provide ad-hoc support.
