Job summary
Cantab Star Education Limited is seeking a junior finance professional to join our Hong Kong team. You will support budgeting, expense monitoring, and record keeping while gaining exposure to reporting and analysis for partnerships with schools, corporates, and other partners.
The role collaborates with senior finance colleagues and cross-functional teams, with increasing analytical responsibility as you grow.
Qualifications
- Fresh graduates welcome; 1–2 years of experience in finance preferred.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for reconciliation.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
- Able to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams in English and Chinese.
Responsibilities
- Maintain budget trackers, compare actual spend to plan, and flag variances.
- Monitor day-to-day expenses and resolve unusual or unsupported items.
- Prepare monthly variance summaries and explain drivers to team leads.
- Review invoices for accuracy and proper approvals before processing.
- Keep audit-ready financial records and strengthen documentation standards.
- Assist in compiling monthly reports, forecasts, and dashboards for management.
- Prepare cost summaries and basic profitability snapshots for programs.
