Golden Lake Capital Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Finance Manager to run our finance function and serve as Manager-In-Charge for Finance and Accounting. You will oversee monthly management accounts, HKFRS reporting, and regulatory compliance within a licensed brokerage.

The role requires a degree in accounting or finance, 4+ years of experience in financial services, and readiness to be MIC; you will lead the finance and settlement team and coordinate with regulators.

Competenze

• 4+ years of accounting experience in financial services
• SFC-licensed brokerage experience preferred
• HKICPA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent (or pursuing) is advantageous
• Knowledge of FRR and liquid capital concepts
• Willing to be MIC (Finance and Accounting) and meet fit and proper criteria

Mansioni

• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual HKFRS financial statements
• Monitor monthly FRR returns and daily liquid capital
• Reconcile client money and client securities under SFC rules
• Settle and manage margins with HKSCC, HKCC and overseas brokers
• Support statutory audits and tax filings
• Assist with SFC enquiries and inspections
• Supervise the finance and settlement team and improve finance systems

We are an SFC-licensed Type 1 and Type 2 brokerage in Hong Kong. We are hiring a Finance Manager to run our finance function and serve as Manager-In-Charge (MIC) for Finance and Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Monthly management accounts and annual HKFRS financial statements
• Monthly FRR returns and daily liquid capital monitoring
• Client money and client securities reconciliations under SFC rules
• Settlement and margin with HKSCC, HKCC and overseas clearing brokers
• Statutory audit, profits tax and other statutory filings
• SFC enquiries and inspections on financial matters
• Supervise the finance and settlement team; improve finance systems

Requirements

• Degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline
• 4+ years’ accounting experience in financial services, ideally at an SFC-licensed brokerage, asset manager or in financial services audit
• HKICPA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent (or working towards it) an advantage
• Knowledge of FRR and liquid capital; Client Money / Client Securities Rules an advantage
• Willing to be designated MIC (Finance and Accounting) and able to meet the SFC’s fit and proper criteria
