Job summary

Mitrade, a global CFD and forex broker based in Hong Kong, seeks an experienced Finance Manager to join the Group Finance team. This role will support cross-border finance activities, financial reporting, planning, treasury management and governance across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate partners with cross-border stakeholders to strengthen financial reporting and finance operations in a fast-paced international environment, driving continuous improvement and transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 6–10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably within financial services, fintech or multinational organisations.
• Strong experience in management reporting, treasury and business partnering.
• Working knowledge of Chinese Accounting Standards (CAS), PRC statutory financial reporting, statutory payment processes and PRC taxation.
• Experience supporting cross-border finance activities and working with cross-border stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP and financial reporting systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Business Partnering: Prepare timely and accurate monthly management reporting, financial analysis and performance insights for senior management.
• Cross-border Finance Coordination: Act as the primary finance liaison between Group Finance and cross-border stakeholders, supporting financial reporting, statutory compliance, finance operations and governance initiatives.
• Treasury & Liquidity Management: Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts, liquidity projections and funding requirements across assigned finance activities.
• Governance & Finance Transformation: Strengthen financial governance, internal controls and finance processes across assigned finance activities.
• Oversight of audits and compliance with group finance policies and statutory requirements.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Group Finance team based in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will support cross-border finance activities, financial reporting, planning, treasury management and governance across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will partner closely with cross-border stakeholders to strengthen financial reporting, finance operations, treasury management and process improvements within a fast-paced international environment. This role offers broad exposure across management reporting, financial planning & analysis, treasury, statutory matters and finance transformation initiatives.

What Would Be Your Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Business Partnering

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly management reporting, financial analysis and performance insights for senior management.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across assigned finance operations.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs, providing meaningful variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects.

Cross-border Finance Coordination

• Act as the primary finance liaison between Group Finance and cross-border stakeholders, supporting financial reporting, statutory compliance, finance operations and governance initiatives.
• Coordinate monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and finance deliverables across cross-border finance activities.
• Partner with cross-border stakeholders on accounting, statutory reporting, taxation and finance-related matters, ensuring timely communication and consistency of financial information.
• Review and challenge financial information, statutory reporting deliverables and tax submissions to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Provide technical guidance on Chinese Accounting Standards (CAS), PRC statutory financial reporting, statutory payment processes and PRC taxation matters where required.

Treasury & Liquidity Management

• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts, liquidity projections and funding requirements across assigned finance activities.
• Monitor operating cash burn, working capital and liquidity positions, proactively identifying funding requirements and financial risks.
• Support treasury planning, liquidity optimisation, capital allocation and funding initiatives.
• Coordinate periodic cash flow reporting, funding requirements and liquidity planning with Group Treasury and cross-border stakeholders.

Governance & Finance Transformation

• Strengthen financial governance, internal controls and finance processes across assigned finance activities.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, including process automation, reporting enhancements and finance system implementations.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities where required.
• Ensure compliance with Group finance policies, applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting capabilities.

What We Require From You:
